Kitchener is now once again proud to hold the title of Memorial Cup Champions!
In 1982, the Rangers won their first Memorial Cup, after playing again Hull in the finals.
21 years later, Kitchener again defeated Hull on their home ground. Winning the 2003 series without loss, and scoring 6 goals to 3 in the final
game against Hull, Kitchener held a celebration rally in downtown Kitchener in honor of the 2003 Champions.
On May 26th 2003, thousands of fans packed the courtyard outside Kitchener's City Hall cheering and praising the home-team as they arrived in a
caravan parade from the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

Waterloo, like most Canadian communities has a strong hockey and skating heritage.
The city has done an excellent job providing superior facilities across
the whole community.
Thanks to contributions from our visitors, we have compiled the names,
locations and phone numbers of many arenas in the area.
The premiere (and greatest!) hockey team in KW is The
Kitchener Rangers. The Rangers are based out of the
Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
